The Pairing Generator can be used to create sport and game matches, study partners, tournament schedule, classroom groups, split tasks, or to pair students.
You can export pairings to CSV and Excel, or copy, print or share the random pairs.
To start, choose pairing settings and add your list(s) of names or items to create random pairs.

Random Pair Generator is free to use without any limits to split names into random pairs.
Yes, you can create random pairs from two different lists of names or items. The tool also works with a single list, so you can either pair people from the same group or match names from two separate lists, such as boys vs girls, class A vs class B, or players from two teams.
We do not currently have a native Match Generator app. However, you can still access our mobile-friendly tool through any web browser on your mobile device. To add a shortcut to the Match Generator on your home screen, open the tool in your mobile browser and tap the "Add to Home Screen" button in your browser's settings. This will create a shortcut on your device's home screen, allowing you to quickly and easily access the Random Match Generator with just one tap.
